1. Overseeing and managing the creation, development, and refinement of written content for various platforms, including publications, books, newsletters, research materials, digital media, and other formats, while ensuring alignment with the brand's tone and messaging.
2. Reviewing and editing written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines. Maintain the quality and accuracy of written materials, including articles, manuscripts, marketing copy, and other written assets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and edit written content for clarity, spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, style, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure consistency in tone, style, formatting, and messaging across all written materials. Familiarize yourself with and adhere to style guides, such as AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or company-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with writers, authors, and content creators to develop high-quality and engaging content that resonates with the target audience, and write independent content. Communicate with authors and content creators to clarify any ambiguities or inconsistencies in the content.
• Conduct research, fact-checking, and verification of information to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
• Optimize content for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) by incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, and other SEO best practices.
• Coordinate and manage editorial calendars, content schedules, and publication deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Proofread and revise content to eliminate errors, typos, and inconsistencies before publication.
• Stay updated on industry trends, content best practices, and audience preferences to continually improve content strategy and quality.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and digital teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content development and distribution.
• Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven decisions.
• Track changes and revisions using editing tools and software.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Copyeditor, Content Editor, Proofreader, or similar role in a publishing or editorial environment.
• Strong command of the English language and grammar rules. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and digital publishing platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in using editing tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or editing software.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and digital publishing platforms.
• Knowledge of different style guides, such as AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or MLA.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and time management skills.
