As a Copy & Content Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content that engages and educates our target audience.
Your primary focus will be on creating compelling and informative articles, blog posts, social media content, website copy, and other written materials. The ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of content strategy, and the ability to adapt their writing style to different audiences and platforms.
Responsibilities
• Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for execution with assigned brands
• Creating compelling copy for online, print, radio, or television advertisements
• Research and understand a client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, and in-person meetings
• Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials including FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & Blogs etc.
• Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff, from concept development to delivery of final product
• Creativity and the ability to think strategically to create compelling content that drives engagement
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team — and to client representative when requested — and participate occasionally in client pitches
• Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
• Create website content
• Evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
Two or more years of professional copy & content writing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
