Job Description
One Quint, a book publishing company, seeks content editors and writers to assist in academic book publication.
• Requirements:
- Verify the quality, accuracy, and usefulness of content submitted by our Authors.
- Proactively provide feedback to teachers and work with them to finalize the content.
- Work with the book designer and typist to make the book informative, easy to understand, and logically structured for students.
- Establish good relationships with existing authors and assist new authors with publishing their books on our platform.
- Perform market research to improve our Author's content and help the brand stand out from the competition.
- Encourage authors to submit their time-sensitive projects on time and assist them as needed.
- Attention to detail in language, spelling, and punctuation.
- Establishing consistency in layout and style.
- Ensure that references, illustrations, tables, headings, sequences, links, and preliminary and end matter are correct and that tight deadlines are met.
- Identify and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax in the copy or proof.
- Review and edit written articles for grammar, verbiage, and comprehensibility to ensure that they are error-free and easy to read.
- Ensure adherence to the curriculum of academic boards such as ICSE, CBSE, and IGCSE.
- Excellent written English, including good spelling and perfect grammar.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in work.
- Meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Graduate in BA/B.Com/BMS/B.Ed/BS/B.Tech:
- Good academic record
• Work Timings:
Monday to Saturday, +am - 6pm.
