The Role:
As a Contract Field Services Technician, you will provide on-site technical support and services to our retail clients. Your responsibilities will include:
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
• Assisting with shop fitting and performing general handyman tasks as needed, including cutting, sanding and connecting desks, shelves, point of sale equipment etc.
• Conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
• Documenting all activities, including service reports.
• Adhering to safety protocols and industry standards during all operations.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus but not a necessity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable using tools.
• Experience in handyman tasks or shop fitting (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions from senior team members.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle.
• Willingness to invest in your own tools.
• Willingness to travel to client sites within the designated area and work shift hours, including night shifts.
