The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing and possess excellent written English communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Create clear, concise, and compelling copy for various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, blogs, and more
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines
• Conduct research to gain a thorough understanding of the target audience and industry trends
• Ensure all copy is optimized for search engines and meets SEO best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve copywriting skills
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field strongly preferred, with a minimum of three years of related experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit copy
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize content for search engines
• Familiarity with various marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and website content, as well as longer forms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, organizing and prioritizing work accordingly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Portfolio of original writing samples
