Across Australia, Salvos teams use music, video and digital content every day to support worship, ministry, services and community engagement. This role plays a vital part in ensuring copyrighted materials are used responsibly, ethically and lawfully, allowing our people to focus on mission delivery while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
About the role
As a Copyright & Licensing Coordinator, this is your opportunity to support The Salvation Army’s national mission by coordinating copyright requests, tracking licences, and maintaining accurate records for the lawful use of copyrighted materials across TSA teams.
Reporting to the Copyright & Licensing Specialist, this is a permanent, part time hybrid/onsite role, 22.8 hours per week, located in THQ Redfern, New South Wales.
How you will make an impact
In this role, you will:
Coordinate copyright requests and support CCLI reporting, annual reviews and licence renewals across TSA teams
Maintain accurate and up to date records of copyright permissions, licences and usage in the contract management system
Support the tracking and administration of music and content licences with industry bodies such as APRA AMCOS and OneMusic
Assist with preparing training materials and coordinating sessions that promote copyright awareness and best practice
Monitor and escalate potential copyright or licensing risks, supporting compliance with legislation and internal policies
What you will bring
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or demonstrated experience in copyright, licensing or a related field
Experience working within the community services, mission or not-for-profit sector (desirable)
An understanding of Australian copyright and licensing frameworks, with the ability to escalate complex matters appropriately
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with experience maintaining records, databases or document management systems
A current Employee Working With Children Check (NSW)
Confidence using systems such as Microsoft 365 and document management platforms in a professional setting
