We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic content writer to help us scale up our content output.
Your role will involve using AI tools to produce unique content more efficiently, allowing us to enhance and expand our clients' SEO.
You will primarily be working on location pages for our clients.
These are website landing pages that are written to advertise a service to customers in a specific geographic area.
The content on each of these pages must be unique and must fit the template we provide.
What you will be doing
Working alongside the Content Delivery Manager and SEO team to scale up our content offering
Writing content for clients - this will primarily be location pages, and might also include blogs and targeted SEO copy for websites that helps pages to rank, usually for local search phrases
Creating engaging copy that is informative, reliable, and written for an online audience.
Helping clients achieve results from their online copy.
The words you write will form an integral part of the user's journey.
Tailoring copy and tone of voice.
You will need to adapt your style for each individual project depending on the purpose of the website and character of the business.
Using AI tools like ChatGPT to create unique location pages for our clients' websites
Researching our clients and their industries to produce content that lines up with their brand
Proofreading content to remove any grammatical errors or duplicate content
Editing content to ensure it meets our internal standards
Optimising content for SEO by naturally incorporating the target keywords
Being accountable for upholding our copywriting standards.
Exceeding customer expectations in the delivery of our service.
Identifying and responding in a timely manner to any issues that may occur.
Who you are
Have good conversational English
Excellent written UK English
Previous copywriting experience for a UK audience
Degree level qualification
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT
Have strong attention to detail, being able to proofread text and remove grammatical mistakes
Self-motivated and driven to learn and self-develop
Proactive and able to work to deadlines
Interested in SEO and writing content for an online audience
