Profile: Copywriter
Location: Bengaluru/ Bangalore
At IDEX, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We’re looking for a creative thinker, with excellent writing and research skills, to work as our full-time copywriter. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including digital media, print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.
• Write, edit and proof-read copy
• Create captions, catchy one-liners, and content for banners
• Generate clear, accurate and engaging copy across all platforms
• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
• Find design and copy solutions to business problems
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
BA (English, Literature, Journalism)/ MA (English, Literature, Journalism)
● 0 or 2 years of Industry Experience.
● A flair for writing with an understanding the pulse of ecommerce
● A strong writing portfolio showing copy/ marketing campaign work
● A deep understanding of Design Thinking Process & Wireframing.
● Experience creating engaging content for campaigns with an audience connect.
● A knack or knowledge about Electronics gadgets, Appliances, fashion, lifestyle, trends,, etc
● Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed.
● Empathy and advocacy for users, in all areas of work.
● Excellent attention to detail.
● Ability to independently manage and meet deadlines.
● Ability to independently manage stakeholders for projects.
● Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
● Great, positive attitude – we are a highly collaborative and collegial team.
● Desire to learn new things and keep abreast of the world of retailing and e-commerce.
● Skills and experience with social media content management or fashion styling.
● Any photography Art Direction experience.
