Understand the work instructions and interpret the client’s requirements and core messaging.
Get familiar with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market. Brainstorm ideas and concepts for the visual and the copy.
Collaborate with other members of the creative team.
Write various copy options which can be presented to the client.
Accept copy changes from an editor and modify copy until the client is satisfied.
Be accountable for checking all the content being advertised is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practice.
Check and proofread one’s own work in terms of spelling, grammar, and content before submitting the output to the copy editor.
Participate in conceptualizing process improvement and quality-related initiatives.
Abide by the policies and rules of the company and act in a professional manner at all times by maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.
Perform/render other duties or special projects, training and/or hours of work, as may be reasonably required, which are consistent with the general level of responsibility for the job. Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication Arts, Mass Communication, or related disciplines Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in professional copywriting
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially in English and Hindi.
Exceptional research skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams to meet the accuracy and delivery targets
Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
