The role of the Copywriter & Content Editor is focused on assisting the development and execution of all content and copywriting within the Witchery Marketing team to support the strategic and commercial goals of the business.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the creation and execution of the Witchery tone of voice style guide across all channels
Write copy for all Witchery marketing collateral including email, website, social media, above the line advertising, public relations, packaging and in store
Oversee all copy written for the website in regards to product copy, ensuring copy is SEO/SEM optimised
Write long form SEO optimised style advice articles and Q&A style collective interviews
Provide editorial styling advice to enhance the customer experience and maximise sales
Ensure tone of voice and brand consistency in all customer-facing copy
Edit copy prepared by third parties
Work closely with key stakeholders in the planning and development of monthly EMD content
Weekly creative workflow management.
Key Capabilities
Excellent writing skills ideally with experience in writing and editing fashion and style advice copy
A journalist background or fashion editor/copywriter
Expertise in digital content including experience in SEO and SEM
Willingness to learn, display initiative and take on new responsibilities
Well-developed time management and organisational skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
