You’ll write across platforms and industries, shifting voice and tone with ease, while supporting marketing efforts through SEO-focused content and light digital ad management.
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Writing
Write clear, engaging copy for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, digital ads, and print collateral.
Develop both long-form and short-form content tailored to specific audiences and platforms.
Ensure all content aligns with client brand voices, tone, and messaging guidelines.
Editing & Proofreading
Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Maintain a high standard of quality across all written materials.
Offer constructive feedback to team members when errors or improvements are identified.
SEO & Digital Marketing
Optimize content using SEO best practices, including keyword integration, meta descriptions, and alt text.
Monitor content performance and collaborate with the team to adapt strategies when needed.
Support light digital marketing duties such as placing ad buys (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook), tracking performance, and aligning campaigns with broader strategy.
Collaboration & Campaign Support
Work closely with designers, strategists, and project leads to develop cohesive, goal-driven content.
Participate in campaign ideation and content planning sessions.
Conduct market or audience research when needed to ensure messaging is on point.
Brand Storytelling & Messaging
Craft compelling brand narratives that connect emotionally with audiences.
Ensure consistency of message and tone across all communication channels.
Understand and respect the nuance of client branding and audience expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years experience as a Copywriter, Content Creator, or similar role.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Solid understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing tactics.
Ability to adapt writing style for different brands and platforms.
Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or diploma in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience with HubSpot, Mailchimp, and social media management tools (e.g., HeyOrca).
Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and AI-based writing tools.
Previous experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment is a plus.
