Position Summary'
The individual in this role will be a passionate animal lover (preferably a pet parent) who will create effective, engaging and creative content for all our communication and collateral including newsletters, ads, product descriptions and more. S/he will be a highly collaborative team player, working with multiple teams to ensure that our messaging is consistent across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
• The person will be responsible to create the original promotional content that creates the most impact using the least number of words to a targeted audience.
• Design content in a concise and memorable manner.
• Collaborate with our Ecommerce and Marketing team to create Advertisement Blogs, Social Media Content, Video Content, and other content related material.
• Engage our target audience, deliver great user experience and assist with marketing communication campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers and fellow copywriters
• Proofreads and edits own work and creatives for grammar, style and content accuracy before they are sent to the client for approval
• Multi-tasks effortlessly, juggling several projects across various business categories
• Makes quick, timely decisions to meet project deadlines
• Assists in website, brochure and presentation content as and when required
• Keeps updated on social media and pop culture trends
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
• 3+ years of short-form copywriting for an ad agency/fast paced work environment
• Exceptional creative and conceptual writing talent, as demonstrated by a portfolio
• Ability to distill, transform and repurpose.
• Ability to make a choice of what to keep, and what to edit out, enters the picture and clarifies it for the reader.
• RSpeaks and writes in a clear, concise manner
• Microsoft Windows and Google Suite proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) or
(Google Docs, Google Slides/Google Sheets)
• Animal lover is a plus!
