Description
The ideal candidate is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and grammar sleuth. You will be responsible for developing social media content, short format blogs, and website content with copy-editing skills-based industry research and client interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Content writing for social media includes - short scripts for reels, conceptual video posts, special days content, creation of ad campaigns for various topics
- Ideation required for - Instagram stories, Reels monthly content calendar, engagement posts, and objective-based posts - for ex. create content with the objective of driving engagement to the website, etc.
- Maintain Content Calendars for each Social Media Platform
- Ability to distinguish and have platform-centric content buckets and tone
- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to assess project needs and help with messaging
- Drive brand consistency across all company communications
- Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
- Client Servicing for Approvals & Presentations
Qualifications for Copywriter:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
- 2-3 years of experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with an agency
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
- Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent portfolio of work
