Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Digital Content Writer to join our growing team and create, edit, and update content on our digital platforms, such as websites, emails, blogs, and social media platforms.
Your core responsibility will be to research industry-relevant topics and create grammatically impeccable, interesting, and SEO-optimized content consistent with our company’s guidelines.
You will be expected to submit a nearly-perfect first draft by proofreading and editing your own work, as well as provide revisions to your submitted articles in a timely manner.
One of the requirements of the job is also to meet with our internal teams to identify new strategies for creating valuable content and discuss implementing changes to the existing articles. While not one of your primary responsibilities, you may be required to publish content as well.
Responsibilities
Conduct extensive research on industry-relevant topics to create original and engaging content for our audience
Write content that promotes our/our client’s products and services
Generate content that incorporates best SEO practices and guidelines and drives visitors to our/our client’s website
Edit, proofread, and fact-check the content
Ensure that all digital content is consistent with our company’s style and formatting guidelines
Work with the sales and advertising team to identify customer’s needs and recommend new topics based on them
Collaborate with the marketing and design team to make the content as visually appealing as possible
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or any related field
At least 3 years of writing experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Joomla
Understanding of SEO and keyword research
