Job Title: Copywriter - Social Media

Job Summary:

The Copywriter for Social Media is responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and on-brand written content across various social media platforms. This role involves developing creative copy for posts, ads, captions, and other social media materials that resonate with target audiences, drive engagement, and enhance brand awareness. The Copywriter will work closely with the social media, design, and content teams to ensure content aligns with the brand’s voice and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Copywriting:
• Write engaging and persuasive copy for social media posts, captions, advertisements, and other digital content tailored to specific platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Develop creative and effective messaging that aligns with marketing objectives and speaks to target audiences in a relatable and compelling way.
• Adapt copy to fit different formats, including short-form content, calls to action, and multimedia posts.
• Brand Voice & Tone:
• Ensure all copy reflects and strengthens the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging across social media platforms.
• Write copy that is consistent with the brand’s identity and values while remaining adaptable to various platforms and audience segments.
• Content Strategy Collaboration:
• Work closely with the social media and marketing teams to ensure all copy supports overall content and campaign strategies.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for social media campaigns and content strategies.
• Help shape content calendars and provide fresh, creative content ideas that engage the audience and meet business goals.
• Engagement & Audience Interaction:
• Create copy that drives engagement, including likes, comments, shares, and direct interactions with followers.
• Write compelling calls to action and community-building content that fosters conversation and audience participation.
• Trend Monitoring & Innovation:
• Stay informed about the latest trends, memes, hashtags, and social media challenges to ensure content is timely and relevant.
• Experiment with new types of content, copy formats, and creative strategies to keep social media content fresh and innovative.
• Content Optimization & Performance Analysis:
• Review social media metrics to analyze the effectiveness of copy and make adjustments to improve engagement and performance.
• Work with the analytics team to refine copy strategies based on data insights, such as engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the creative, design, and video teams to ensure that written content aligns with visual assets and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the community management team to ensure the tone and messaging are consistent in interactions with followers.
