Job Title: Core Mobile - Engineer QA & Testing
Corporate Title: AVP
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
• We are looking for highly skilled Mobile QA Enginner who would be responsible for testing mobile applications both Android and iOS. it is expected to closely work with Product Owners, Developers, and UX team to understand requirement. This role involves both manual and automation testing.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with PO, BA to understand the requirement and document the test cases
• Execute manual testing for Android + iOS application and identify, document results
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Espresso, Perfecto or similar
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar
• Document and Execute Regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken
• Execute Performance Testing
• Mentoring/Guiding junior developers
• Ensure robust, scalable app using best coding practices and architecture guidelines
• Manage release process including build creation for test and prod environments
• Actively participate in code reviews
• Plan and provide appropriate software documentation
• Work with the Product Owner, Scrum Masters, Dev Team members, UX designers, security specialists and other groups to identify technical and functional needs
Your Skills And Experience
• 13+ years of experience in developing Android application
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin: functions and lambdas, collections, generics, coroutines, reflection
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose
• Strong knowledge of reactive programming (rxKotlin, rxJava)
• Experience with asynchronous programming
• Strong knowledge of the MVVM architectural pattern
• Experience with Clean Architecture, knowledge about SOLID Principles
• Strong knowledge of Dependency Injection; Dagger experience
• Proficient in Android Studio: Debugger, Logger, Layout Editor, Profiler, Device File Explorer
• Knowledge of REST APIs and libraries like Retrofit
• Experience with security mechanisms: Keystore, SSL pinning, encryption, Man in the Middle Attack Prevention
• Experience with implementing analytics and interpreting metrics
• Experience with code quality tools: lint, sonarqube, Veracode
• Gradle knowledge; experience with writing gradle scripts
• Ability to work with a continuous integration environment: experience with Teamcity (or similar), Artifactory (or similar), AppCenter (or similar)
• Experience with hardening mechanisms: ProGuard, DexGuard (or similar)
• Knowledge of design patterns: Adapter, Singleton, Facade, Factory, Observer, Decorator
• Good knowledge of Java
