Full–time
Shift : 24X7 Support on Rota basis. Strong experience in supporting Oracle DBMS products including Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Control, Data Guard, ASM, RAC and NoSQL database management Proficiency in setting up backup and recovery strategies using RMAN Thorough knowledge of Oracle OEM, ASM, Datapump, Partitioning, Materialized views. Experience in running and supporting large databases under high transaction rates Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues using tools like OEM/SQLDeveloper and/or custom scripts. Solid experience in database migration from one platform to another, patching, upgrade, data loading, security, capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning Ability to manage all database maintenance plan activities including backups, indexing, integrity and consistency checks, etc. Ability to analyze traces, debug stored procedures, triggers and packages Experience in database design and some logical modeling knowledge Working experience of AIX, Linux , Unix and Windows operating systems Clear understanding of Database Architecture, Operating Systems, Client/ Server Architecture Experience in supporting IT operations using an onsite/offshore delivery model Ability to write and maintain technical documentation and procedures Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as in collaboration with a team Exposure to Patching Oracle Database in Packaged Applications like Oracle-E-Business Suite(Oracle Financials) / Peoplesoft HRMS Exposure to write and debug shell scripts for Automation. Good to Have Skills:- ===================== Experience in supporting Oracle Exadata Database Administration Experience in Database Deployment and Transformation in Public Cloud (Oracle /AWS) Experience with Oracle Golden Gate
