Join Our Finance Team as a Corporate Accountant – Risk Division
Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take on a strategic role in a dynamic environment? We’re seeking a Corporate Accountant to support our Risk Division, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This is a key opportunity to lead financial operations and contribute to high-impact decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Systems accounting and financial control
General ledger administration and treasury operations
Reinsurance Accounting
Managing the investments portfolio
Preparing consolidated financial statements and annual reports
Management accounting and Month end reporting
Supervising 2 x Assistant accountants
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strategic insight:
Strong knowledge of insurance accounting standards and their implementation
Project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives forward
Proven experience producing consolidated annual financial statements
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
CA or CPA qualifications with 5 years’ experience post qualification
Familiarity with accounting and banking software
Experience in the insurance industry
Understanding of APRA and ASIC regulatory requirements
