Your key responsibilities:

Sets a vision for long term organizational success at global / regional business level and implements respective strategic plans

Oversees development and execution of objectives, plans and policies and is accountable for continuous efforts to improve Deutsche Bank's competitive Position and its performance

Ensures financial success by controlling budget planning and management as well as the P&L

Maintains internal and external key business relationships

Ensures the alignment to the DB risk management framework as well as to current regulatory and compliance requirements

Determines marketing and business development strategies

Defines objectives, policies and plans to achieve and maintain competitive edge

Manages day-to-day activities of client banking and account management

Coordinates with Global and Regional counterparts

Coordinates with the different Product Partners, Product lines and other units for overall development of the corporate customer portfolio

Personally manages the MNC accounts and portfolio

Appraises, trains and develops staff (if any)

Work with the Coverage bankers to grow the bank’s business with MNC & LLC customers of the branch

Analysing deal profitability and presenting business cases to Deutsche Bank’s credit risk management (CRM) team for credit approvals based on a detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of client’s financial performance, strategy, and business model

Preparation of client presentations, briefing memos, arranging client meetings, and logging of call reports to record client meeting outcomes

Coordinate and ensure completion of New Client Adoptions and escalated periodic KYC reviews

Prompt handling, in coordination with relevant internal teams, of client queries / instructions that may relate to time-sensitive deals, cash payments, FX, etc.

Respond to internal compliance / AML / sanctions related queries

Work together with multiple teams on stated objectives

Your skills and experience:

With 10-15 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated leadership ability

Ability to negotiate and influence others to gain support and achieve a common goal

Detailed knowledge of corporate banking products and markets

Strong client relationship, marketing presentation and sales skills

Superior analytical aptitude

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Transaction banking product knowledge (Cash, Trade Finance, FX), and possessing keen interest in the industry and relationship management is a big plus

Excellent business communication skills (written/verbal) across different levels of seniority – both with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work well in a global team

Strong organisational & problem-solving skills

Independent self-starter and able to take ownership of tasks to meet tight deadlines

Effective in navigating internal organisation to coordinate across multiple teams

Possess strong attention to detail

Flexible and adaptable to change given the nature of the role & fast evolving industry
