You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.
We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.
Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.
Role Description
As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with production teams removing toiling activities/implementing automatization and with the squads acting as a JAVA backend developer implementing feature, based on state-of-the-art technologies. Your key responsibilities
Build/Manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for both digital and non-digital projects. Work closely with development team and release managers to deploy components for multiple releases in multiple environments. Work closely with operator team support and driving Infrastructure issues. Part of the MIM call in case of critical incidents. Hands on experience building on premise, hybrid and/or cloud infrastructure; Especial managing and driving Infrastructure (PAAS Deutsche Bank, e.g.) related issues. Develop and recommend appropriate solutions and services that meet client needs and provide value.
Your skills and experience
10+ years of relevant experience Proactive personality coupled with strong technical/problem solving capabilities with an ability to quickly adapt to new environments/technologies and provide long term solutions Hands-on experience in programming languages and tools, esp. JAVA, web services (RESTful services), databases (Relational DBs and No-SQL) Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Experience in developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines. Very good and Hands-on experience with Cloud tech (especial GitHub, Terraform, GCP / Azure / AWS, Docker Container orchestration such OpenShift, Kubernetes)
