Functional Tester Job Description
Our organization is seeking a skilled Functional Tester to join our team. As a Functional Tester, you will be responsible for understanding corporate or retail banking applications and working with a technology provider or a global bank's IT team.
A key aspect of this role is having an in-depth understanding of different Cash Management functions such as Receivables/Payables management, Cashflow Forecasting, Receivable Reconciliation and Liquidity Management tools like Sweeping, Notional Pooling, Balance Netting, Multi-bank Cash Concentration, Investment sweeps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand user stories and design functional test plans, scenarios and test cases
• Execute manual functional tests and support the automation team in automating test cases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 6 years of experience in functional testing
