The role
As Corporate Communications Lead, you will deliver UniSuper’s corporate communications program to increase engagement with key stakeholders including the Board, Executive Leadership Team, employers and members. You will shape key messages, support media and corporate affairs activity, and deliver major strategic engagement initiatives.
Develop and deliver a 12 month corporate communications strategy and plan
Craft executive speeches and presentations for major corporate events
Support media enquiries, statements and issues management
Deliver communications for key initiatives including the AMM and Annual Report
Manage communications with external stakeholders and industry partners
Support and maintain crisis communications planning
About you
You are a highly capable communications specialist who thrives in complex, fast paced environments and brings clarity through strong storytelling. You combine sound judgement with exceptional writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Substantial experience in corporate or written communications
Experience in media relations and reputation management
Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling capability
Confident using AI enabled tools as part of your communications toolkit to improve the quality, speed and consistency of your work.
Calm and decisive under pressure, with strong attention to detail
Experience in superannuation or financial services highly regarded
