• Purpose of Role This role is within the Corporate Communications function of MGS. The person will be appointed to assist the Corporate Communication lead of MGS in various corporate communication initiatives of the Company
Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
Internal Communication:
• Support in drafting, formatting and publishing internal communication materials (emails, newsletters, announcements).
• Assist with employee engagement campaigns, leadership messages and intranet content.
• Help coordinate townhalls, leadership connections and awareness drives.
Events & Media:
• Provide logistical and creative support during internal events (e.G., Foundation Day, CSR drives, festive celebrations).
• Maintain archives of communication assets, photos and video content.
Digital and Social Media:
• Monitor corporate social media handles (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and track engagement metrics.
• Draft posts and coordinate approvals with relevant departments.
Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain a calendar of communication activities and provide weekly/monthly updates. Track and report basic analytics on communication initiatives (e.G., email open rates, intranet traffic, etc.).
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree:
• Prior experience in corporate communications, marketing or content roles is an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint);
Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Good organizational, prioritization and time-management skills
• Capable to multitask and meet timelines.
• Proactive and enthusiastic to take up new challenges and tasks.
• Interest in corporate culture, storytelling, and visual branding.
