The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Bilingual HR Manager (English/Spanish preferred) who is ready to step into a strategic leadership role within our expanding portfolio. This is more than just an HR position, it’s a chance to shape the employee experience across multiple states while serving as a trusted advisor to regional and community leaders.
What You’ll Do
• Lead all aspects of HR, from employee relations to performance management, recruitment, and retention.
• Navigate the complexities of multi-state employment law while ensuring compliance at every level.
• Drive strategies that strengthen culture, engagement, and workforce development.
• Partner with leaders on critical issues such as FMLA and leave accommodations, benefits, workers’ comp, and more.
• Play a key role in shaping a workplace where employees thrive and communities flourish.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary HR partner for regional and community leadership teams on employee relations issues.
• Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent across multiple states for leadership positions.
• Develop partnerships with local workforce organizations, schools, and industry groups to build talent pipelines.
• Implement retention initiatives that foster engagement, reduce turnover, and support career growth.
• Administer FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave requirements; provide guidance to leaders and employees on compliance and documentation.
• Oversee the interactive process for accommodations, balancing compliance with operational needs.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting, investigation, and coordination with carriers.
• Partner with operations to identify trends and implement proactive safety measures.
• Oversee return-to-work programs to support employee recovery and workplace safety.
• Provide oversight of benefits programs, ensuring employees understand and maximize available offerings.
• Partner with brokers and vendors to resolve escalated issues and improve benefit utilization.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., wage and hour, EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA).
• Drive initiatives that support organizational culture, employee engagement, and workforce development.
• Lead HR projects, including policy development, process improvement, and compliance audits.
• Lead investigations, mediate conflicts, and guide leaders through corrective action processes.
• Partner with managers to implement performance improvement plans and drive accountability.
• Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices across all communities.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations and performance management cases.
• Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed across multiple states.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
