Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, and board fiduciary duties. They will be responsible for managing transaction databases, drafting precedents and forms, and providing research insights to attorneys.
Transaction Database Management: Maintain and audit deal term records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the practice group.
Precedent & Form Management: Draft, refine, and organize template agreements and M&A precedents.
Legal & Market Monitoring: Track and analyze regulatory changes and market trends, updating practice materials accordingly.
Training & Development: Assist in designing and delivering training content for attorneys.
Business Development & Thought Leadership: Support the M&A marketing team by creating content for client engagements, industry updates, and thought leadership materials.
Attorney Support: Provide attorneys with precedents, templates, and research insights as needed.
Practice Innovation & Knowledge Management: Collaborate on technology and efficiency initiatives to enhance deal execution.
Qualifications: Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in U.S. M&A transactions, excellent drafting, research, and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a team player with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
