Job Description
- **Contracts and Agreements**:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, service-level agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Ensure all agreements are legally sound and aligned with the company’s goals and risk appetite.
- **Labor and Employment Law**:
- Advise on compliance with Indian labor laws, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and employee benefits.
- Handle legal issues related to employee disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations on workplace safety, equality, and other statutory requirements.
- Support HR in designing legally compliant policies for employee onboarding, leave management, and workplace conduct.
- **Risk Management**:
- Identify legal risks in business operations and devise strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide legal advice on intellectual property, data protection, and other technology-related matters.
- **Dispute Resolution**:
Manage and resolve disputes involving customers, vendors, employees, or other stakeholders through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for representation in courts or tribunals when required.
- **Corporate Governance**:
- Oversee legal matters related to corporate governance, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of corporate records and compliance with statutory obligations.
- **Advisory and Strategy**:
- Advise the management on legal implications of strategic decisions, business initiatives, and partnerships.
- Provide insights on labor law and workplace compliance to enhance organizational policies.
- **Policy and Framework Development**:
- Draft and implement internal policies on data privacy, labor practices, cybersecurity, and corporate governance.
- Ensure all policies comply with Indian laws and reflect best practices in the crypto and technology sectors.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to address legal queries and ensure compliance in all business activities.
- Act as a point of contact for labor law-related legal matters within the organization.
• *Educations Required**:
Eligibility will be bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); an LLM or equivalent specialization in Corporate or Employment Law is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a legal role, with a strong focus on labor law, contracts, and dispute resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment regulations, and corporate legal frameworks.
- Proven track record in drafting contracts, managing employment disputes, and ensuring labor law compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
