About the Position:
Our client, a strong and established Chicago law firm with a highly regarded corporate transactions practice, is actively seeking a corporate M&A attorney to join as an associate. This practice represents business owners, investors, and organizations ranging from mid-sized, entrepreneur-operated companies to large global companies in corporate counseling, M&A, capital raising, business formation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
· Handle a range of corporate transactions, including private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, LLC/shareholder agreements
· Advise middle market companies on various general corporate matters
Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of corporate transactional experience
· Must have strong academic credentials and writing skills
· Previous experience with private securities offerings and private equity is a plus
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000.
