We have an outstanding opportunity as a Corporate Receptionist for an impressive client based in the CBD. Here you will join their Head Office team where they have 100 people in their Brisbane office. You will immediately feel a welcomed part of the team as you find they have an amazing culture where staff are truly looked after.
Based on Reception, you will be the first point of contact for clients both over the phone and face to face.
Within this role, you will have plenty of variety as you ensure smooth run of the Reception area and meeting rooms plus also perform overflow administration duties. There is an opportunity to be trained as back up to the Finance Officer if this is an area you would love to learn.
This role is just the start as you join a business where you can progress your career within administration.
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
Head Receptionist - ensure reception area is running smoothly
Meet, greet and answer incoming calls
Look after meeting rooms and manage room bookings (6 meeting rooms)
Set up training room and for meetings including organising catering
Offer refreshments to visitors
Be part of a supportive Administration Team
Manage the general email inbox
Assist with various administrative tasks (full training provided)
Mail and organise couriers
Supervise and mentor a junior staff member
The ideal candidate will have the following skills or attributes
Previous experience based on Reception within an office or 5 Star Hospitality/Hotel Reception
The ability to problem solve and use initiative is essential
Previous customer service or admin experience and wanting to find a company where you can build your admin career
Confident communication skills and telephone manner
Professional presentation - happy to be part of a corporate office
Solid experience in MSOffice (particularly Word and Excel)
Hours - 8.20am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch - no overtime expected!
