The role: Corporate Waiter
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional corporate waiter to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess excellent composure, the ability to prioritise and problem-solve under pressure, and a high level of client focus. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
Liaising with Front of House Supervisor, Client Services Coordinator and Head Chef regarding food and beverage requirements for meetings and functions on level 24, 23 and other areas as required.
Providing waiter services for any meetings, functions and events being conducted on HSF premises.
Monitoring functions and services in meeting room booking system, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of services in compliance with standards and procedures.
Ensuring meeting rooms are cleared, cleaned and restocked promptly at meeting/ and event conclusion, in compliance with standards and procedures.
Supporting client and internal staff use of technology and video connectivity facilities in the meeting and multi-purpose rooms on level 24 and 23.
Assisting Front of House Supervisor in monitoring and ordering consumables and the management plus recording of stock utilisation.
Providing support and backfill for the Café when required, including operation of POS system.
Supporting all client services staff when required.
Assisting with occasional kitchen duties and/or supporting after hours events as required.
Ensuring Food Safety plan is adhered to and compliant with regards to all areas including but not limited to; foodservice and food handling, cleanliness in all work areas and dishwashing.
Complying with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out in legislation and the firms' policies and procedures.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Professional services boardroom /restaurant /five-star hotel waiter experience.
Current RSA certification.
Microsoft office suite.
Experience with room and resource scheduling software and POS systems.
