The in-house legal team is seeking to recruit a Corporate/M&A lawyer at Senior Associate level from a major law firm with 5-10 PQE. Those at an equivalent level in-house will also be considered if they can demonstrate significant transactional experience.
About the role
In this role, you will provide legal support to the Corporate, Treasury and other Head Office functions, and support material merger, acquisition and divestment transactions globally. You will deliver commercially focused and strategic advice across all of the subject areas covered by the Corporate legal team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Provide strategic input to merger, acquisition & divestment on local and global transactions
Establish and maintain relationships with key internal client groups and stakeholders
Assess, monitor and advise on commercial risks
Lead legal workstreams for projects led by your internal client groups
Contribute to legal team projects and initiatives
You will lead legal workstreams for material merger, acquisition and divestment transactions, including advising on public and private corporate structures, cross-border and M&A transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
About you
You are a Senior Associate at a major law firm or at an equivalent level in-house with outstanding Corporate/M&A experience. You demonstrate the ability to win the trust and confidence of senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted advisor. You are highly collaborative and have the ability to lead workstreams in large, complex commercial projects involving global cross-functional teams. Key personal attributes include enthusiasm, professionalism and integrity.
Hybrid working model.
