Job responsibilities.
As a member of the marketing dept., the candidate will be responsible for arriving at the size of the thermal plant & associated machines/ conveyors for specific customer applications, estimating the manufacturing cost, calculating the energy requirement & managing associated documentation.
· Handling customer RFQ & tender documents
· Zero base costing / clean sheet costing.
· Estimation and preparation of bill of quantities
· Costing of the BOQ
· Submitting techno-commercial offer to customer.
Background:
• 3-6 years of extensive hands-on Costing & Estimation in an engineering Company, division or start up.
• A sound understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret Autocad & Solid works drawings
• Fluency in MS office suite especially Excel
