The Costs Lawyer/Draftsman will be responsible for handling costs-related legal work, preparing bills of costs, preparing costs budgets, drafting legal documents, and providing costs advice to clients. advocacy is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
• Proficient in costs law and regulations
• Strong drafting, costs budgeting and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Relevant certification or qualification in legal costs desirable
• Prior experience in a similar role within a legal environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
