The Role
To drive branch sales and margins by proactively pursuing new business opportunities, developing relationships with customers, and identifying potential for growth.
This is a contracted position, working:
Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 17:00, plus every other Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00 (44.5 hours per week).
Branch location: W3 8BL.
What We Offer
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, based on experience.
25 days holiday + bank holidays + 1 celebration day.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to exceeding branch sales, margins, and gross profit targets.
Ensure compliance with company audit requirements.
Carry out daily cash handling procedures and comply with end-of-day cashing up protocols.
Collaborate with the Transport Team on administrative tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service, meeting Lawsons' best practice standards and policies.
Negotiate with customers to achieve optimal margin while adhering to branch budget and KPIs.
Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and ensure product availability.
Become familiar with company products, services, and operational requirements.
We're Looking For Someone With
Previous sales experience in a builders merchant or similar industry.
A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to build rapport with customers.
The desire to develop knowledge of the company, its products, and operational needs.
Professionalism, promoting and adhering to company culture and values.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, and prioritization skills.
