About the role
The Counter Sales & Warehouse Operator role is a Full-time position, based at Berrimah, NT. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In this role you will:
Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
Ensuring documentation, labelling and product presentation is adhered to.
Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
Attend to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Your hours will be the following: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm.
What you bring to the role
Forklift licence is desired or willing to obtain one.
Possess a strong work ethic.
To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers.
An eagerness to learn about products and services.
Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
Experienced in contributing to a productive and engaging work environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
