About the Role
AMINA India is looking for a hands-on Counterparty Onboarding Specialist who will work in our Accounts Management Team and support Senior Client Managers across segments (Banks/Financial Institution/Payment Providers) to create strong counterparty base, provide excellent service and build long-term relationships with counterparties.
The Account Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Reviewing documents covering a wide range of different entity types including listed and regulated entities, SMEs as well as large private and public companies, and other complex structures to fulfil KYC/AML requirements for New Counterparty Adoptions (NCA)/Existing Counterparty Refresh (ECR).
• Reaching out to counterparty, collecting information & documentation according to NCA/ECR
timelines and following up to ensure complete and prompt delivery.
• Completing relevant KYC forms/systems and updating Counterparty KYC profiles driven by material events.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of each counterparty, including procedures, and workflows. Create and update operational manuals as needed.
• Assisting the planning and execution of Counterparty adoption projects, providing support as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Staying updated with AML/KYC guidelines for EMEA and APAC regions.
• Managing the relationship with senior front office sales officers and being the 'single point of contact' for queries related to counterparty adoption.
• Maintaining MIS and Reporting for all onboarded counterparties
• Managing expectations and ensuring that all SLAs are adhered to.
Experience / Requirements
• Master’s Degree ideally in Banking & Finance
• High positive energy and drive to refine and improve the way things are done, can-do and hands-on mindset
• 10+ years of KYC experience and end-to-end KYC onboarding process knowledge
• Strong communication, relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to ask questions to determine client needs and expectations
• Result-oriented, reliable work ethic, team-first and cause-first attitude
• Strong analytical skills
• Blockchain and digital asset knowledge
