Job Description
In the Country Risk Team, you will be part of Reporting supporting Country Risk framework managing crisis reporting and will be required to forge strong relationships with technology, middle office, country risk management, finance & senior business leads across the firm. Core functions will involve:
Job Responsibilities :
Presenting Exposure Analysis to Senior Management. Develop an in-depth understanding in the evolution of exposure trends across issuers and/or clients by products (lending & trading) firmwide.
Participate in the collection, aggregation, and analysis of information for countries requiring increased scrutiny; providing insights to Country Risk Management at regular meetings
Ensure accuracy of exposure, stress and legal entity data and associated comparative commentaries. Data process automation
Strong innovator, always challenging processes and seeking efficiencies. Provide input and participate in various working groups to ensure appropriate capture of data, enhance data aggregation processes and reporting & control procedures
Establish a framework to support the timely and accurate capture of data. Contribute to the improvement and automation of the Country Risk reporting process
Exception Management – Identification of firmwide/line of business (LOB) breaches and working with middle office, country risk management, credit officers, product controllers, market risk & trading on validating as well as resolving breaches.
Governance & Control – Adhering to the agreed control framework & seeking opportunities to build systemic controls on operational activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

5+ years of experience in financial risk/financial services industry
Knowledge and sound understanding of either market/credit risk measures and financial products
Strong knowledge of MS Office to produce reports/adhoc analysis (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Ability to work and solve problems independently in a fast paced, detail oriented environment adhering to timelines
Good relationship building skills to work with colleagues across multiple groups to obtain relevant information for understanding exposure trends and managing exceptions appropriately
Ability to improve current processes and achieve efficiencies
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline
