About the Position
The Suffolk County Attorney's Office is seeking a highly skilled County Government Lawyer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for attorneys to work on complex legal cases in Family Court and Social Services Bureau, while developing their skills and knowledge in government law.
Key Responsibilities
Handling complex cases in Family Court and Social Services Bureau
Working collaboratively with County Attorney staff, other attorneys, Court staff, and Child Protective Services
Developing strong relationships with all stakeholders, including families, witnesses, and counsel
Requirements and Qualifications
Admitted to the New York State Bar
Experience in government or family law
Strong academic record, commitment to public service, and a strong work ethic
