Job Description
Are you passionate about education and helping people achieve their goals? Join our dynamic team in Adelaide, Australia, as a Course Advisor, where you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through their educational journey. In this exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking to embark on a career in the primary industries sector, including agriculture, horticulture, and trades.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with prospective students, their families, and stakeholders, providing a friendly and supportive environment.
Guide students through the enrolment process, answering their queries, and ensuring a smooth transition into their chosen programmes.
Promote our brand and educational offerings by connecting with organisations, schools, and the local community through outreach and marketing activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
Maintain accurate records and databases, demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills.
Continuously seek opportunities to motivate and inspire students, helping them achieve their educational and career aspirations.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels and understand diverse student needs.
Sales and engagement capability, including asking quality questions, generating leads, and delivering compelling presentations.
Highly organised with strong time management, demonstrating a results-driven and goal-oriented approach.
Passion for education and supporting people, particularly within primary industries such as agriculture, horticulture, and trades.
Adaptable and proactive, with strong computer literacy, willingness to learn, and experience in customer-facing or sales environments (knowledge of the Adelaide education landscape is advantageous).
Additional Information
Full-time, permanent position.
$73,831 base + super + up to $6,000 in commissions (dependent on targets met).
$1,000 annual professional development allowance
