Job Description
This remote position will provide successful candidates with an exciting and dynamic opportunity to work with a team of professionals dedicated to the advancement of the School of Applied Health. The successful candidates will work independently for the most part, to create and assemble course content that will provide the best possible educational experience for our students.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working very closely with the Associate Dean and the Curriculum Advisor and in collaboration with other members of development team;
Developing course outlines in alignment with the Program Learning Outcomes, applicable regulations and standards of practice in Ontario;
Developing Course Learning Outcomes, specifically related to the course description in alignment with the Program Learning Outcomes;
Defining course critical performance statements;
Developing evaluation matrix and assigned specific evaluation tools to each evaluation method with the associated rubrics;
Designing the course content within each module and evaluation style;
Providing revision support based on committee feedback received;
Attending virtual meetings with the Curriculum Development Team;
Performing other related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate(s) will also meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition with five years of work experience as a Certified Nutrition Manager;
Registered Dietitian;
Must currently be a Certified Nutrition Manager through the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management;
Preference will be given to individuals with a variety of experience in the industry, including experience in managing budgets for clinical nutrition and/or food and nutrition service departments;
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Certification;
Food Handler’s Certificate with:
Excellent knowledge in cross-sectional food business operations and supply chain;
Experience with universal and accessible design is an asset;
Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the post-secondary level is an asset;
Network of contacts with other professionals in the Healthcare and Nutrition industry is an asset;
A critical understanding of problem solving and innovative conceptual and strategic thinking.
