What G4S can offer you
Full-time employment opportunities available- 38 hours a week 8:30 - 16:30
Part-time opportunities opportunities available- 55 hours per fortnight 8:45 - 14:15
Daytime hours of operation Monday to Friday, no night or weekend work
Onsite paid training provided - including batons & handcuffs and x-ray screening
After training you'll be qualified as an Authorised Officer of the Courts
Uncapped $500 bonuses for referring someone that becomes a G4S employee
About the role and team
Our team at Court Services Victoria keeps the courts and tribunals and the people who attend them safe, secure and orderly. As a valued team member, you'll play a significant role in helping build safer communities by ensuring the public feel safe and protected when dealing with the judicial system. This is a varied position where you have to think on your feet, be able to problem solve and work as a team, making no two days the same.
You'll be responsible for:
Providing exceptional customer service to anyone entering the court
Conducting x-ray screening, using metal detectors and searching individuals for prohibited items
Roving security patrols within and external to the building
Conflict resolution and negotiation
Acting as a first responder to any incidents that may occur
Managing access and control rooms
