COUTURE SEAMSTRESS: SUIT JACKETS, BOUND BUTTONHOLES & VESTS
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years professional sewing experience
Minimum 5 years suit tailoring — jackets, bound buttonholes, and vests
Complete garment construction (no piece work)
Advanced couture techniques: hand stitching, seam finishes, embellishments
Pattern and technical drawing interpretation
Industrial machine operation
Knowledge of fabric properties and appropriate handling
RESPONSIBILITIES
Construct custom couture jackets, bound buttonholes, and vests to W10 standard
Maintain quality control — inspect and rectify stitching, fit, and construction at every stage
Collaborate with designers and pattern-makers to execute design intent accurately
Participate in fittings and make alterations as needed
Meet production schedules without compromising quality
Maintain organized inventory of materials and supplies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
