One Great City is an award-winning craft brewery located in Winnipeg, MB. Since 2015, we’ve built a reputation for small-batch, high-quality beer and a commitment to our community. As we expand our beer program, we’re looking for a results-driven and organized Sales Representative to help grow our retail footprint across Manitoba. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the liquor retail landscape, is confident with in-person sales and wants to contribute to the continued success of a respected local brand.
The Role
This is a full-time position, primarily focused on outside/field sales. This role is focused on selling OGC’s packaged beer to various retail locations. The bulk of your time will be spent with in-person customer engagement, making sales calls, managing existing accounts, and developing new business.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound sales calls and emails to drive packaged beer sales across MB
Build strong relationships with private and government liquor stores and vendorsIdentifying new opportunities within the marketplace, while maintaining existing client relationships
Coordinate product availability, orders, and delivery schedules
Support seasonal product launches and promotional campaigns
Represent One Great city at in-store tastings and retail events (occasionally working weekends or evenings)
Track sales activity using computerized tools and report regularly on performance
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in packaged-product sales (craft beer experience is a strong asset)
Clean Valid MB driver’s license for in-person visits
Computer proficiency and aptitude, specifically with MS Excel
Strong communication skills (both written & verbal; email ,over the phone and in person)
Ability to take direction, while also possessing strong problem-solving skills
Organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Confident, personable, and able to build lasting customer relationships
Knowledge of MB’s liquor retail landscape
