The Credit Risk Data Unit (CRDU) was created to bring together Credit Operations and Risk Close & Analysis functions with the aim to standardize data taxonomy and provide greater transparency on residual differences between Risk & Finance. A closer alignment on data management enables us to both Manage and report Risk & Finance deliverables more efficiently and contributes to our overall goal of building a stronger and safer DB.
Exposure Mapping Team
The Exposure Mapping team, as part of the CRDU model is a responsible to perform detail investigation on trade, facility and counterparty exceptions and perform mapping on DB’s risk systems which ensure accurate and timely capturing of exposures in RWA/other downstream reporting’s. Also support round the clock monitoring of credit relevant feeds entering the DB’s credit risk engine and perform analysis on threshold breaches as required. Work closely with stakeholder like CRMs, Risk IT, Change and Data sourcing teams for resolution of various breaks to ensure the appropriate alignment of Risk and Finance data. Support UAT checks on various system enhancements and new feeds on-boarding.

Responsibilities
• Manage a team of 5-6 Analysts/Sr. Analysts and closely work with them to ensure accurate and timely process delivery.
• Manage round the clock support required for Credit relevant feed monitoring during APAC, EMEA and US shift timings.
• Have a balanced approach on all key performance areas and ensure all SLAs are met.
• Review ageing, timeliness and accuracy of issues and escalate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Review end-to-end UAT and Business sanity checks for system enhancements/new feed on-boarding.
• Front face any audit related requirement
• Lead daily meetings with team members/multiple stakeholders to brainstorm on various process related issues to expediate the resolution.
• Share appropriate & timely feedback with team members so that they can improve & perform efficiently.
• Encourage and drive continuous process improvement culture by fostering safe to fail environment
• Ensure proper team co-ordination and engagement for enhanced team morale.
• Identify and bridge any control gaps within process to avoid misses and discrepancies.
• Support ad-hoc requests as per Business requirements within agreed SLAs.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
• Relevant work experience for min. 8 years in a Bank and/or in Credit Risk
• University degree (in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business Administration)
• Detailed knowledge of DB Credit Risk or other DB Risk systems is beneficial
• People management experience (Preferred)
Competencies:
• Outstanding understanding of Investment Management products primarily Commercial Banking and traded products.
• Strong communication skills (Verbal and non-verbal) to drive discussions with multiples stakeholder groups.
• Interests in data analysis, metrics review and interpretation with focus on key process controls.
• Sound experience with regular data production and report creation tasks.
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end UAT and Regression testing for data feeds and Validation of Post release issues in production is preferred.
• Very good MS Office skills in particular Excel and ideally Access
• Knowledge of database language and reporting tools like SQL, Business objects would be an advantage.
