Job Title: Creative Content Writer
Location: Jasola, New Delhi
Founded in 2012, the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) is a Not-for-Profit Organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Council has been established by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) with financial support from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). We are an awarding body with NCVET accreditation. Currently, we are seeking a creative content writer to manage all marketing content. We are looking for someone who possesses a deep understanding of the industry and target audience from a marketing perspective, as well as a constant curiosity about the evolving nature of social and digital media, and its capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Create and proofread all content and ad copies used for promoting and marketing our products and services.
• Collaborate with the design team to write marketing copies for communication collaterals.
• Write a wide variety of content for multiple platforms, including marketing emails, social media copies, promotional messages/notifications, blogs, articles, banners, case studies, presentations, voiceover scripts, and landing pages, among others.
• Utilize SEO guidelines for creating SEO-friendly content.
• Ensure consistency in language, tone, and flow throughout all content.
• Stay up to date with social media trends.
• Take full ownership of ideation and content creation from start to finish.
• Create social media content calendars.
Required Skills:
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in content writing and management.
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Ability to deliver creative content in various formats, including text, images, and videos.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment under pressure with aggressive deadlines.
• Ability to think from a consumer's perspective and infuse creativity into every piece of content written.
• Excellent communication skills.
