Role at a glance:
At AltWorld, a Content Writer will develop and execute viral content creation and content strategy for our Social Media presence across all the channels, focused on community engagement
The Content Writer will build the strategic and cross-functional plan for serving the target audience, set the vision, goals, plan the weekly and monthly calendar and roadmap, collaborate with the Creatives team to create content and work with partners throughout the organization to ensure the overall success and visibility of the program.
Your daily adventures will include:
Create and execute the overall content strategies and creation plans in weekly and monthly calendar/marketing targets
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
Ideate and execute scripts for Influencers, game trailers, teasers, behind the scenes or talking about a new update and other video content
Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
Ensure compliance with law (e.g
copyright and data protection)
Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention and keep the community engaged
Make recommendations about how the ads can reach their target audience
Conducting research, information and insights and break them down into a singular strategic idea for creative teams to operate from
Write blogs and social updates for our company handle - updates, engagement posts, player stories, memes, everything which keeps the community engaged
Write YouTube video titles and descriptions than get people to click, but are optimized for search as well
Write copy for push notifications, in app popups or any other marketing campaign as needed
Skills and requirements:
Must have 2 years of Content Creation and Strategy experience in Gaming or Social Media Company/Platform/Industry
Strong creative and analytical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in high impact and sometimes ambiguous work environments
Comfortable with hands-on contribution and has good work ethics
Being a gamer or a gaming enthusiastic is a plus
