Creative Coordinator
Salary: $50,700 to $60,000
Working at YWCA Banff
YWCA Banff is a community-based, women-centered organization with over 100 years of experience in Banff and the Bow Valley. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, our organization shapes a safe, inclusive community that empowers women and their communities in support of our vision of a thriving, equitable society. We believe in the possibility of a better future for us all.
Every employee plays an important role in realizing our organizational goals through their active commitment to our four strategic priorities: programs and services to end gender-based violence; a continuum of sustainable housing solutions; advancing the rights of women and girls; and building a sustainable organization. We are committed to ensuring our culture attracts, retains, and develops the best people.
The Creative Coordinator is a creative designer and storyteller who plays a key role in translating YWCA Banff’s mission, values, and advocacy priorities into compelling, accessible, and actionable content. This role blends advocacy work with marketing content production, bridging the gap between design, research, writing, and digital communications. Whether creating compelling visuals, developing a social post, designing a housing safety guide, or writing a donor story for a campaign, this person ensures all content reflects our values and deepens public understanding of our mission.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager within the Resource Development and Communications Team, the Creative Coordinator works collaboratively across the organization and directly with clients, partners, and donors to craft thoughtful content that educates, builds empathy, and drives change.
