Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the creative direction and strategy for all visual and graphic design projects, ensuring alignment with the brand’s mission, values, and overall marketing objectives.
• Conceptualize and develop innovative and visually stunning designs for various mediums, including digital platforms, print materials, packaging, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, target audience, and key messaging, and translate them into compelling visual solutions.
• Oversee and mentor a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the design process.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging design techniques to ensure the brand remains fresh, relevant, and differentiated.
• Ensure consistency and brand compliance across all design projects, enforcing brand guidelines and standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed to support design projects and maintain quality standards.
• Stay up to date with advancements in graphic design software and tools and recommend improvements and efficiencies in design processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and incorporate feedback, iterate designs, and provide creative solutions that address project objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Creative Director or Senior Graphic Designer, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or similar.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of creative projects across various mediums.
• Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
• Solid understanding of branding principles, typography, colour theory, and layout design.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, taking feedback and incorporating it into the design process
