We are seeking an experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our team at Bubble Bee Export House. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating innovative collections that showcase seasonal trends in women's ethnic wear.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough research to identify the latest fashion trends and color palettes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts that align with the brand strategy
• Manage the design process from conceptualization to final product development, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
• Source fabrics and trims while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Illustrator to create designs and prototypes
• Lead and manage the sampling department, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to meet business objectives
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Designing or related field from a reputable institution
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in product designing and development, specifically in women's wear
• Strong knowledge of woven, denim, and knitwear designing for the Indian market
• Expertise in silhouettes, fabrics, colors, sewing techniques, trim, and details
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator) and MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to travel occasionally may be required.
