MISRI - Premier Real Estate | Iconic Architecture | Boutique Interior | Chennai is seeking an experienced and innovative Architect to lead and oversee the architectural design and development of our projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, translating them into effective architectural designs.
• Inspecting and surveying new sites and buildings to ensure feasibility and compliance with project goals.
• Developing detailed project schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.
• Conducting thorough research to validate the technical feasibility of proposed plans.
• Creating initial concept sketches and mood boards to visualize design ideas.
• Refining designs using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rendering software to achieve high-quality results.
• Selecting suitable materials and creating a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for project budgeting purposes.
• Supervising construction work, coordinating with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Master's degree in Regional/Town Planning/Sustainability/Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 1-5+ years of experience in architectural roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, and Lumion.
