Your mission should you choose to accept it.

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Lead to help evolve and elevate ScalePad’s brand in the MSP space. You’ll lead our in-house Creative team and be responsible for driving visual excellence across every touchpoint—from web, to advertising, to swag, and everything in between. This role is for someone who has experience building amazing brands in the B2B space and knows what’s expected, but isn’t afraid to challenge convention to make our creative a differentiator. You should love coaching creatives and know how to speak their language, but you should be just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as a player to get design work done too.

This role is a part of our Brand & Communications team, which combines Content, Creative, and Communications into a single powerhouse unit. You’ll have a front row seat to all of the amazing work being done, and will have the opportunity to shape and elevate it with design. This is a truly exciting role for the right person. We invite all qualified candidates to apply below, and please make sure to include a link to your portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Manage and evolve our visual identity across ScalePad’s master brand and our full product suite. We’re in the middle of a major strategic shift as a business, and we want to revisit our brand strategy & visual identity as a core part of that. This position plays a key role in that.
Oversee and support the execution of all creative assets, including websites, digital ads, sales collateral, ebooks, conference booths, and more. You should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves as a player-coach and contributing from a design perspective.
Lead and manage our multidisciplinary Creative team of designers, developers, and motion graphic artists—guiding their growth, coaching regularly, and fostering a high-performing (and fun) team culture.
Triage and manage intake of creative requests from across the company, aligning priorities, seeking clarity when needed, and resourcing projects efficiently. The Creative team supports the needs of the entire organization, so effective resource management is essential.
Review and approve creative work, ensuring it meets brand standards, project requirements, and quality benchmarks.
Establish and manage relationships with freelancers, contractors, and external vendors—ensuring creative resources are available as needed and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with our Product Design team to align our marketing and product visuals into a unified customer experience. This is an important relationship at ScalePad, and it needs nurturing to be successful.
Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in visual design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role. B2B SaaS experience is essential.
Deep understanding of brand systems, creative workflows, project briefs, intake, and end-to-end project management processes.
A people-first leader who’s known for building strong teams and nurturing talent. Experience managing creatives across multiple disciplines (graphic design, dev, motion, etc.)
Strong portfolio showcasing your experience across digital, web, and brand design.
A strong point of view on modern design trends, typography, layout, and UX principles.
The ability to balance craft with strategy—you're as comfortable making as you are directing.
You possess and exemplify exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills – modelling what this looks like to your team every day.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
What You’ll Love Working As A Rocketeer:

Everyone’s an Owner: Through our Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), each team member has a stake in our success. As we scale, your contributions directly shape our future – and you share in the rewards.
Growth, Longevity and Stability: Benefit from insights and training from our leadership and founder, whose extensive experience in funding and scaling successful software companies creates a stable environment for your long-term career growth. Their proven track record fosters a culture of lasting success.
Annual Training & Development: Every employee receives an annual budget for professional development, empowering you to advance your skills and career on your terms.
Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a world-class office at our headquarters in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal
Cutting-Edge Gear: Whether in the office or at home, you’ll be set up for success with top-of-the-line hardware.
Wellness at Work: Our Vancouver office features a fitness facility, outdoor ping-pong tables
Comprehensive Benefits: We’ve got you covered with an extensive benefits package with 100% medical and dental coverage fully employer-paid, RRSP matching after one year of employment, and even a monthly stipend to help offset the costs of the hybrid experience.
Flexible Time Off: With our unlimited flex-time policy in addition to all accrued vacation allows you to take the time you need to recharge and thrive.
Dream jobs don’t knock on your door every day.

ScalePad is not your typical software company. When we hire you, we aren’t just offering you a job, but rather we are committing to investing in both you and your long-term career. You'll help shape how this modern SaaS company operates and make a genuine impact on the future of our people, product, and partners.

We invite all qualified candidates to apply. Please note, you must be eligible to work in Canada to be considered for this role. We thank you for your interest. However, only successful applicants will be contacted.
